What are your opening hours?
Weekends and School Holidays 12 Midday - 9pm.
Weekdays 4pm - 9pm
Is there a fee to enter Tower Hamlets Winter Magic?
Yes, £1 site entry per person (except under 2’s) which includes a redeemable £1 voucher for use inside Tower Hamlets Winter Magic. Registered Foster Carers, their own children and the children that they care for are offered free site entry. Just bring your photo ID badge or Agency Decision Maker (ADM) letter with photo ID, such as a driving licence.
Do I need to bring ID?
We operate Challenge 25 on all our bars. if you are over the age of 18 and wish to consume alcohol then yes as our staff may ask for proof of age.
Can we Bring Our Own Alcohol?
No only alcohol purchased at Tower Hamlets Winter Magic can be consumed.
Can I buy smaller quantities of ride tickets?
Yes these can be purchased on site in any quantity at £1.20 per token.
Do you have toilet facilities?
Yes there are male and female and accessible toilet facilities on site.
Can you bring pets?
We encourage you to leave your pets at home as the site can get very busy. assistance dogs are welcome.

I have lost an item - How can I get in touch?
Can we pay with cash on the rides?
All rides are paid for with tokens, these can be purchased from our Token booths @£1.20 per token or ten tokens for £10.

Is it Real ice?
Tower Hamlets Winter Magic rink pride themselves on having a real ice surface for the best skating experience
Do I need to bring ID?
ID may be required for anyone using a childs ticket, especially if you're lucky enough to look over 16! Please bring proof of age to avoid anydisappointment on arrival.
Can Carers book tickets?
Carers are free of charge on production of official ID (Carers Card UK or National Carers Card). Carer tickets can’t be booked in advance but spaces are guaranteed on the day for official carers.
Can I wear my own boots?
You are welcome to wear your own boots, we may inspect them to ensure they are suitable and are not damaged prior to use, there is no price reduction for using your own boots.
If the rink is not busy are you strict on times?
If the rink is not busy we will use discretion as to allowing skaters to stay on for longer than there planned session.
Do you give refunds?
No refunds are given.
Once we are on the ice, can we come off?
During your session you may come off or on the ice as many times as you like, no time extension will be given.
How do I use my e-tickets?
You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. You may show a digital version of this ticket ie on your phone, make a note of this number and take with you when you visit the attraction in place of a ticket, or print out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you access.
What is the minimum age of a child allowed on the ice?
The minimum age allowed on the ice is 3, all children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can we hire any equipment to help us skate?
You can hire ice guides, these are £5.00 each and are on a first come first served basis.
I am a non-skater and have children with me, can I take them on the ice?
We have ice guides to hire (if available) and there will also be marshals on the ice to assist you.
What if i want to change my session time or date?
Tickets are non transferable, please ensure you check your booking prior to purchasing.
If there is bad weather will Tower Hamlets Winter Magic be closed?
We always monitor the weather. If bad weather is forecasted, we may have to close for the safety of all customers, we may at times have to close some attractions for H&S purposes.

1. When can we visit Father Christmas?
Father Christmas will be joining us on the following dates in December 2026:
• Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December
• Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December
• Monday 21st to Thursday 24th December – open daily

2. Do I need to book to see Father Christmas?
We recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred session and avoid disappointment, especially during busy periods.
3. Can we visit Father Christmas without booking?
Yes! We happily welcome walk-ins without a prior booking. However, this will depend on how busy we are on the day and the availability of sessions.
4. Do sessions apply?
Yes. Visits to Father Christmas are arranged in allocated time slots. Please arrive on time for your booked session.
5. Do all children need a ticket?
Yes. All children visiting Father Christmas must have a valid paid ticket, regardless of age. This includes babies and younger children.
6. Can brothers and sisters visit Father Christmas together?
Of course! If siblings are booked together, they can enjoy their magical visit with Father Christmas as a family.
7. What is included in the ticket?
Every child will enjoy a magical face-to-face meeting with Father Christmas and receive a lovely soft toy to take home as a special Christmas keepsake.
8. Can we take our own photographs?
Absolutely! Parents and guardians are welcome to take their own photographs during the visit at no extra charge, capturing those precious Christmas memories.
9. Do adults need to purchase a ticket?
Accompanying adults do not need to purchase a Father Christmas ticket when attending with a child.
10. What happens if we arrive late?
Please arrive in good time for your booked session. If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.
11. Can we book on the day?
Yes! Same-day bookings and walk-ins are welcome, subject to available sessions. During busy periods, availability may be limited.
